Portable cardscan in a cellphone

Why not have a java program that works in a cell phone and uses that cell phone camera as the scaner. I can't take my laptop to trade shows, meetings, etc. with the cardscan hardware. There are a lot of cell pnones to sell applications to.
Pros: Scans Accurately, Easy To Use, Scans Quickly
Cons: Difficult To Transport

This product allows you to quickly and easily process business cards and catalog them so that you can be much more effective in what ever profession you are in.

An Outlook & Mobile Phone Time-Saver

I meet over 300 new contacts each year ina phone book of over 1800. New contacts can go into my Outlook immediately and from there in to my Nokia in just a few seconds! I also have the security of the Web-based contact list avaailable 24/7!

I travel extensively, when I return, I take the weeks work and new contacts and zap, upload to Outlook. On to Blackberry and I'm ready to go. It doesn't get any easier, it's fairly accurate and it makes my business life less cumbersome.

Product has a hard time initializing the OCR engine. I sometimes throw the scanner in a drawer and don't try again for weeks. Took me 25 minutes to connect today after three unsuccessful tries...kept timing out. I don't even try to do backups, they are way too long. Image quality, even after calibrating is poor so far as colors go. Even white cards are not white.
Pros: Easy To Use, Easy To Transport, Fair resolution
Cons: Too long to backup, Works Slowly, Inaccurate
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
