Super Time Saver!

When I return to the office from a convention or a sales call all I do is insert the business cards and the contact data goes right into my ACT contact management system. It is so easy my grandchildren can scan business cards. It just can't get any better! CardScan saves me hours of manual data entry. How cool is that!

Cardscan Pro is so fast

Going on the road and going to networking meetings I collect cards and with cardscan in my oc bag, I offer to the host that I will scan in all attendees cards and send them to the attendees. They love it! Plus I get to collect all the cards give them to me and that afternoon I send them and export the cards and print then in photo alblum and offer to send a pdf file of the attendees. They look good I get all the attendees!
Pros: Scans Quickly
Cons: Need two of them

Worth the Upgrade

I had a Cardscan 600cx but upgraded to Vista Home Premium 64. Thought I could upgrade to the new version of Cardscan software 8, but the European Dymo guys had such a lousy rate that for a few dollars more I had an 800 scanner as part of the bargain. Installed software - scanner driver installed but wouldn't scan. By looking at technical solutions I discovered that 64 Vista needs a different driver. Played around and got it to work. WOW...the 800 is MUCH faster than the 600cX and a lot more accurate in deciphering foreign addresses. I don't think Cardscan emphasise this enough. And why doesn't the same kind of loyalty scheme apply to Europeans when it comes to upgrading the software? The price different in Europe is much too different to what happens in the US.
Pros: Scans Accurately, Good Resolution, Scans Quickly
Cons: Vista 64 support hidden

Saves Time - Quick Access - Convienent

I keep a record of where,when and important information from a new contact on the back of their business card and scan both sides for future reference.

Why do without? Cardscan is the best!

I strictly use the product to store business cards as I an=m a very busy networker and the search feature helps a lot when you can recall customers requirements.

extended NOTES section is great for business comments such as skillset, products offered, or specific agreement details
