I scanned over 800 cards, and consolidated with my already 1200 Outlook contacts. Great to find duplicates and update data. Synchronizing is sometimes inaccurate - for some reason Card Scan does not see all changes I made to Outlook. That makes it a little difficult at times.
Pros: Scans Quickly, Easy To Use, Good Resolution, Easy To Transport, Good Outlook interface, Scans Accurately

No Support for Thunderbird

Because Cardscan does not support Thunderbird, I have to scan cards and save to Outlook, then export the information from Outlook and import to Thunderbird. Major hassle and source of inefficiency.
Pros: Easy To Use
Cons: Thunderbird not supported
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Rebuilt contacts in a day

I am on my third card scan product (upgrades) in 7 years. I suffered hard drive failures (several years ago) that lead to a complete loss of 7 years of input... My fault entirely as I hadn't backed up the file and there was no on line storage. A long day and my card scan 800c allowed the rebuilding of my file of over 2000 contacts. Great product, easy to use and faster than my input skills...

Cons: Inaccurate

I travel a lot and I do the scanning home. It's simple enough to use, but powerfull enough to do the job.
