Pretty good, real easy to get cards into the system. Saves all the cards hanging around the drawers and desk. The software doesn't work well with Lotus Notes and caused some problems. ALso not so easy to move things around into categories.
Pros: Reliable Performance, Easy To Use, Quality Construction, Small Footprint

First great thing was how easy it was to export ACT contacts to Outlook. Awesome that it shows front & back cards

we bought this scanner to use after trade shows. Every program that we need to import the data into takes excel files. Card Scan Executive does not export into excel. Getting the data into an apppropriate file takes too much time and energy. If it had an excel export feature, I would recommend it to my colleagues. It has a hard time reading cards with heavy graphics.

Wish it had the ability to sync with pocket PC device without going through Outlook. Got multiple, repeated "need to register" messages even after registering. That's not good.

CardScan Saves Time, Simplifies Life

For years, I accumulated business cards that layed around waiting to be filed or stored. Scanning puts that data in an electronic data base that can be accessed anywhere in seconds.
Pros: Works Efficiently, Small Footprint, Reliable Performance, Instant data retrieval, Easy To Use, Quality Construction, No Rolodex or card box
