A must have for any sales rep

You can scan and dump into different data bases. This product not only organizes it cuts down on data entry and having to keep a book of business cards. The only thing I would change is to design a small hard case that keep it safe when moving in and out of the car.

Easy & Efficient

I am responsible for keeping track of all vendors and architect, engineers that interact with my manager and our company. When I am asked for addresses, phone numbers, etc. that apply to a specific company, I can quickly and easily access the information and have options to print that information so it may taken along. The only small problem I find with the Card Scan is that occasionally it does not recognize some of the more complicated business cards that are scanned.

I would like to see better manipulation of the data such as cut and paste and moving information between tabs. So far so good though.

Don't wait until you have a stack of cards, use it daily.
Pros: Scans Accurately, Good Resolution, Get started quickly, Scans Quickly, Easy To Transport, With or without a scanner, Easy To Use

A Terrific Time Saver

As a senior executive who spends about five (5) hours a day on the telephone from calls around the U.S., the easy retieval of information is a tremendous time saver. I can be on one call and looking up names or information for that call or data for the next one. No more looking, searching or asking for an address, I just click in the name and I have what I need. Plus, I eliminated my old rolodex file

So much better than doing it by hand

It was important for me to have a common database where I could find all my contacts in one place, where I met them and a few important points about them. I bought Cardscan when I had thousands of cards to scan. I also bought it after I had a clerk filling electronically the cards into an excel spreadsheet. Cardscan was a tremendous help. The cards did have to be rechecked as they got into the system as one card passed twice did not put the information into the same spots and I had cards from Asia and most of those characters got mixed up. In fact that is the biggest con to the product, the software still does not afford a good reliability to the character recognition. But it is still exponentially faster than by hand.

Cons: Inaccurate
