A Real Time Saver in Organization

I get hundreds of business cards annually and it saves me time by not having to manually enter contacts and their information into a database. Scanning is so efficient and the software is very intuitive - accurately transcribing the data to the correct fields about 98% of the time. The time saved by scanning translates to increased productivity on other projects and work activities.

A good start but miles to go

I use the product obviously to create e-copies of all business contacts. This obviates the need to carry bulky business card folder, index them search them which is most often a tedious exercise. However, this product needs to be improved a lot to be really useful. (a) the scanner slips/jams when the card thickness is outside certain limts & image distorts. Problem is when the card jams! (b) It does not recognise any non english script like arabic, chinese, etc which are now becoming more prevalent in business domain. (c) the corrections to be done are much too much. (d) the drop down for country is not indexed, so if you type "UNI" it will not go to "united states" or "United Kingdom"...
Pros: Good Resolution, Easy To Transport, Scans Quickly, Easy To Use
Cons: Inaccurate, Does not support non-eng, Distorts Images

I use it with ACT to input contact information. It also helps with Outlook.

Great product - saved me loads of time. Incredibly accurate scanning. The price niggles slightly but I know I should measure it in terms of time saved which is considerable relative to the cost.

Slick but is it sheek?

Scanning a card the first time is great! BUT to keep track as the person moves (as will be the case due to the global economic crisis) is very difficult as you have to put in a completely new entry.
Pros: Easy To Use, Easy To Transport, Scans Accurately, Good Resolution, Scans Quickly
Cons: Software not flexible

You can actually go into the person's contact and say "update card" and scan in a new card, or change the contact without starting a new entry. Hope that helps!
