This is the second Cardscan unit that I've purchased. Initially, both the cost and the quality of the techanology slowed my acquisition of my Cardscan 7. What a bad choice, no vendor competes with this product!
Pros: Easy To Use, Scans Accurately, Good Resolution, Scans Quickly, Easy to Organize Scans

Things that aren't so great: why is it impossible to sync to Goldmine if it's in a different drive? Things that are great about it: overall reduction in the piles of business cards that I accumulate.
Pros: Scans Quickly, Scans Accurately, Good Resolution, Easy To Use
Cons: Difficult To Sync

Resolution software for 700C is MS Windows only. No mac support unless I fork out another [$].Price is too high

Decision Made Me 150% More Effective

Being able to come back from a trade show or networking function and immediately having my database updated makes follow up more effective. Catching up on a huge backlog of business cards has been freeing - my systems now work with ALL my contacts, not just those that I have had time to manually enter.

Product falls short of expectations

I found the product constantly jams as some one else is one line, and the sych process is hopeless. Found product very average - scan ability very mixed quality requiring manual input

Cons: Inaccurate, Synch creats more work

I use the product as database in the office and its great because it automatically sends email to the people to check their information.

It saves enormous time but then I give too much time savings back in review and making corrections due to inaccurate scans.
