Streamlined functionality

I have all the info on the business cards at my fingertips at all times. I don't have a huge business card binder with cracked pages sitting on my desk all day. I am able to share the card image with my partners when referring business or asking questions. Bottom line, if you listen to music on casette tapes and watch movies on VHS, stick to collecting cards. If you listen to mp3s and watch DVDs, get on with the Cardscan.

Difficult to configure the transfer into Outlook and I relazied after several trials, that it just doesn work if Outlook is open contrarely to previous versions..
Pros: Easy To Use, Scans Quickly, Good Resolution
Cons: Inaccurate

I use it to scan cards I receive while out of the office. Sometimes the MS Outlook sync is a problem but, so far it works great -
Pros: Scans Accurately, Easy To Use, Easy To Transport, Scans Quickly
Cons: Some trouble syncing

Fast & Accurate

Overall, the CardScan Executive is economical, fast and accurate. It makes adding new contacts quite simple. The only issues I've had when using the scanner is the minor flaws in the OCR software. I would recommend this product, but with the caveat that one should proof-read carefully. Especially those cards which have an extremely dark background, strange fonts (especially gothic fonts), or are graphic-laden should be have extra attention.

It is very precious because to me the first interest is to record very quickly the datas after a visit of exhibitions for exemple. Also, the possibility to export and /or export the datas to Outlook is very appreciable.Just a thing which should be add is the possibility to export and import the datas to Kplan.. Maybe it is possible..[...]

In our line of work, we meet with lot of important customers of our client. It is important to have that contact information put into the office database as soon as possible and as accurate as possible.
