Harware is good - software is excellent

The Cardscan software is excellent for the remote sales professional. Often we have to support ourselves with little helpdesk support. I use the Cardscan data base to transfer data between Microsoft products - like out look and business contact manager- so I don't have to retype. I use it to connect with ACT. Cardscan does not nickle and dime you, you just call and they help - you - and you rarely have to call - because it is so robust. And when you do call you don't have to wait forever.
Pros: Easy To Use, Small Footprint, Reliable Performance, Works Efficiently, Quality Construction

I love the on-line version which allows me to retrieve my contacts from ANYWHERE! It is so easy to use that I get my kids to scan the cards in for me (they love it).

Great way to get rid of 20 yrs of cards

I was able to put over a thousand cards into outlook in an afertnoon. Everything worked seamlessly. only about 10% required editing. The hardware failed after a month or so, but there was good support and I got a replacement quickly.

Huge Time Saver

My CardScan is a huge time saver. I'm really impressed with this product. I am particularly impressed that it automatically periodically contacts my contacts via email to insure their contact information is up to date.

Good, but with serious limitations

Two weaknesses in latest version: 1. Tabs become unreachable when opening more than nine tabs. Earliest versions allowed all tabs to be accesible. 2. Search facility only allows the first use of search term to be found. Should have ability to find all correct cases of search term
