A Time Saver

I scann all contactsintothe system and sync with outlook & blackberry. A time saver and it is always up to date.
Pros: Excellent Software, Easy Setup, Widely Compatible

Scanning my boss's foreign business cards is great since I would not want to type those foreign addresses. But, but careful proofreading is vital.
Pros: Accurate Color, Good Resolution
Cons: Inaccurate Scans

Cardscan.net Leaves alot to be desired

Cardscan.net is slow, search function is inadequate and slow. synching repeatedly terminates in error when synching with outlook
Pros: Scans Accurately, Easy To Transport, Good Resolution, Scans Quickly, Easy To Use
Cons: Cardscannet, Synch errors with outlook

They ask for a review of the product or some other survey almost every time I log on Accuracy is not good quality of product is not made for transport offers many features but poor instructions not logical
Pros: Cannot read numbers, Poor resolution, Does not scan accuraty
Cons: Difficult To Transport, Works Slowly, Inaccurate, Difficult To Use, Poor Resolution

Not all cards will work in the scanner, black backgrounds or highly imaged cards will not be processed accurately.

I organize my boss's business cards. When verifying, it is sometimes very amusing to see just how the CardScan has had trouble reading tiny print on card faces!

Great little product, being in sales I receive a lot of cards, and the CardScan allows me to enter all the information quickly and with the Outlook format I am able to merge it with our company database ([...]) efficiently!
