What an invaluable business tool!

I go to business networking events and parties frequently and the Card Scan Executive helps me to stay organized. I scan the cards ASAP and transfer them to Outlook. I like the feature that let's me separate the cards into different files. I keep each event or category in separate files. I surprise the people I met with a LinkedIn invitation, keeping connected and very efficiently combine physical networking with online social & business networking to achieve my business goals.
Pros: Easy Setup, Good Resolution, Very High Accuracy, Intelligent Recognition, Excellent OCR Program, Excellent Software, Accurate Scans, Widely Compatible, Accurate Color, Good Bit Depth

Accurate, Easy, but...

I use CardScan with Outlook and Blackberry. Let's face it, that's a pretty common configuration. The problem is that CardScan does not deal with the 3-way conflict issues well (nor does Blackberry). I have had entries mysteriously disappear. This is a BIG problem. If CardScan took this particular problem and worked it out, they would have a killer product.
Pros: Accurate Color, Widely Compatible, Works on Network, Easy Setup, Good Resolution, Good Bit Depth
Cons: Syncronization needs work

CardSacan is a very good solution

I use it tu handle cards and adresses I's very easy to use It isn't easy to sync with mail and similar software

Effective time saver. Organizes database and maintains updates effectively. Does not always scan information accurately though.

Cardscan needs to have better integration instructions for Goldmine, Act, Outlook etc.

This is one of the few products that delivers what it says it will. I recommend this to anyone who relies on business cards as a means of tracking their clients. The software allows me to scroll through my customer base, keeping every customer top of mind. Good product.
