My mom always had Farberware pots and pans as I was growing up. I considered them too "old-fashioned" to have as an adult. I've tried many different brands through-out the years, with inconsistent results. This year I decided to see what Farberware has. I bought 2qt. and 3qt. saucepans and the 6qt. stockpot. Guess what?? Love them all!!! Great sizes, solid feel, and just right! I'm very happy with my purchases.

First and foremost, I love Faberware! The quality and product lines are bar-none. My favorite is the Classic Stainless Steel. The design is ideal for making soup and storing leftovers. It's also perfect for cooking roasts. I also purchased a glass lid for those occasions when I need to make certain nothing boils over or the liquid evaporates.

I wanted a 2nd 8-qt stock pot like this one that I already had. However, the sides in the inside of the pot are not smooth. You can run your fingernail across them and feel the lines of the steel. It will be hard to keep clean. I received a replacement pot from the company, but it was the same inside as the one I had to send back to them. Not real happy with it.
