Everything about my order, the shipping and how the pot looked when it arrived was perfect. The only problem I have is that when I wash it with warm, soapy water and then dry it with a cloth or paper towel, I see a grey powder on the towel. I haven't wanted to cook with it until I no longer see the grey powder coming off the pot because I think it will end up in my food. Have you had any experience with solving this problem?

Classic sleek design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Faberware 6qt pot. The design is classic and sleek and looks great in my kitchen. My first meal I cooked in it was a great chili and it worked amazing. I browned the meat in the pot and added all of my ingredients and was perfect size. It cooked everything evenly which I loved. The one complaint I have about the pot is that the lid seems a little less thick and less high quality as the actual pot itself. It's definitely a little flimsier. I still does the job but I would prefer a lid made out of the same thick steel the pot is made out of. I look forward to adding more Faberware Classic Stainless pieces to my kitchen because I know the name and they last forever.

my mom purchased a set, still in great shape! cleaned with warm soapy water and an SOS pad. never put in dish washer and hand dried. her set os OVER 60 yrs old. she purchased a Classic set for both her daughter and grandaughters.

We had a Faberware pot that we received as a wedding gift 26 years ago. Over the years we have bought other pans that were supposed to be high quality but seemed to take much longer to heat up or burned the food to the pan.
Unfortunately I left my Faberware pot on the stove too long with little water and ruined it. That is when I ordered my new Faberware pot. I was wondering if it would be of the same
quality as things these days do not seem to have the quality they used to. I am very happy
to say that it is just as good as the pot I had for 26 years!

Decent pot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it's stainless which make that non-toxic and easy to clean I like the size and that the lid fits tight but even though it says it is safe up to 350 degrees in the oven I'm too scared to try that because the handles and the LED handle are plastic and I don't want to put those in the oven in my mind if you're going to make something oven-safe I don't think I would make it plastic whether it's safe to a certain degree or not but overall it's not a bad pot if you're not going to put it in the oven

My new go-to pot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only own one other pot that is stainless steel & this one so far is much better! It feels very sturdy but it isn't too heavy. Making soups & pasta is super easy with this, it cooks fast & well. This is also a perfect size because it isn't too small or too big but just right. If I needed to buy a new one I most definitely would, this seems like a product that will last me years so it's very worth it. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys cooking soups or pasta like spaghetti! Super awesome

I am getting ready to order the rest of the set I loved it so much!! I didn't realize the classic line was still available. I would recommend this to my mother if that makes any sense!! What a great piece.
