Great sauce pan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this pot. The size is perfect for almost anything you need a pot for. Whether it's for a couple or a family. I really like the style of the handle how it is raised somewhat and not just straight out. I cook meals for our family and I've used this pot several times since I've received it. It has held up nicely. Food hasn't stuck to it.. even the time I got side tracked and thought for sure my scalloped potatoes would be burnt and stuck to the bottom of it, they weren't they were still in good shape! Didn't stick at all! It's easy to clean. The lid fits on just right, it's not too tight or too loose. I would definitely recommend this pot to anyone looking for a new pot.

Does not work on induction burners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a very quality pan. I have to use it at my mother's house as I have a an induction range and it would not work on it. My mother has a gas stove and I am not used to using it and had some issues regulating the temp. My mom used the pan and loved it. She had no problem with temp regulation. Goes to say that is was a user problem and not the pan. I left the pan for my mom to have and she loves it. Says is compares well to her favorite pans which is anything with a copper bottom.

Handle coming loose

I bought a Farberware 3 quart/2.3 l saucepan from Farberware. 18/10 Stanless Steel. Model number T 098. The handle is coming loose. It is not, not, held on bys crews -- seems to be spot welded onto the pot. So the pot is useless. I would recommend either not buying this, or that Farberware make (as they seem to, now) a different model.

I have owned the Farberware cookware for over 30 years. Just as beautiful and dependable as the first day I got it. I have added to my original set over the years. I have all sizes from this one quart sauce pot to roasting pans. I prefer not put them in the dishwasher, since they are so easy to wash by hand.

Covered Saucepan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thie 1-Quart Covered Saucepan was a perfect addition to my collection of pans and was great for those smaller dishes and sauces I prepare or for helping my younger kids how to cook for themselves but using smaller pots and pans. It was made of solid material and know it will live up to the what the brand is known for: quality. Glad I was able to try this smaller size out as I had seen it but never bought one...and I have already recommended it to others.

Very good basic stainless steel pot for everyday cooking. Only problem is that Farberware unfortunately now makes the lid out of a too light gauge steel.

Durability with style saucepan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Farberware Classic Stainless steel 1-Quart Covered Sausepan was so much more quality then I am use to using, this has a thick aluminum core, with a full base that made it even heating when I was cooking. Also the fitting lid trapped in the all the moisture to keep my food just right. This also had a classic styled phenolic handle making it easy to lift the lid on and off. This sausepan is made of great durability and drip free pouring, and the polished stainless steel was such a great upgrade compared to what I am use to having. I can't wait to buy more of the Farberware Classic collection after reviewing I and highly recommend buying the Farberware Classic Stainless steel sauscepan.

Wow, what a saucepan!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pan! The weight of this pan feels like quality. I used the pan, and was pleased with how it cooked evenly, and was easy to handle. They really paid attention to details. The top of the lid where you grab it to lift is made so you never feel like it would slip out of your fingers. The design is better than most of the pans I've used. I would absolutely buy this pan, and want to look into buying different sizes. I am aware of the Farberware name, but was not necessarily aware of this line of pans. LOVE this pan!!
