Look, if you purchased a curved TV, you're more than likely going to want a curved sound bar. Samsung understands this and capitalizes on it -- the price is elevated, and the sound quality is mediocre at best. No worries... Once mounted in front of your TV, you'll soon forget that you paid more than half for the sound bar than what you spent on the TV.
Pros: Built-in speakers, curved, quality workmanship
Cons: high priced

The curve sound bar and subwoofer has great sound. With the link up to the tv it is just like an all in one unit. The sound bar fits perfect at the base of the tv. Add features to hook up other equipment makes this a really great system. Well worth it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Lightweight, sits well with the tv seems like it is one unit

This is a nicely styled product that works well with curved televisions. It mounts easily and looks like it's part of an integrated system, the sound is better than the television speaker. I'm not sure
what the description 8.1 channel means, because in home theater that means 8 discrete channels. I purchase this system to replace a true 5.1 home theater system that my wife felt was too big for our downsize living space. I was disappointed that there is no support for rear channels. A rear channel is what makes home theater an immersive experience and this system doesn't have one

It sounds okay, but if you're looking for a true immersive home theater experience, this isn't the product for you. If you've never had a 5.1 system with rear channels you'll probably like it. But if you have had a true home theater product you're going to be very disappointed.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not what you might think it is, not a true home theater sound system
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very proud of Samsung for creating a great speaker system. Very lightweight and even at a small volume, it sounds as if there are speakers behind me.

I used to have a 6 speaker surround sound system. This new 8.1 curved sound bar sounds 100% better. Only 1 wire to hook-up instead of 6 like on old system. I love that can connect wireless from my IPhone 5s to listen to what ever I want and the wireless sub-woofer is perfect, I can put it any where.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a sleek and high preforming sound system.

This sound bar has very good sound coupled with my Samsung 4K 3D 8000 series TV and 4K Blu-Ray player. I recommend it even though it is somewhat high priced.

This Soundbar with 8 channels & wireless subwoofer 7 inch really comes alive with movies & gives you Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound & wireless Subwoofer & it is all plug-in-play !!! I used a fiber optic cable for best sound quality but you you can also use enclosed HDMI CABLE with it's own audio out for volume control with your Samsung TV remote instead of seperate Samsung remote !!! It makes TV experience just like @ the movies !!! Fits nicely under & on top of my UN65JS9000& I like the
shiny black !!! These Soundbars & subwoofer were all the rage when they first came out & guess what they still are !!! The front firing speakers are loud & clear & two side firing speakers are awesome, let's not forget the wireless plug-n -play subwoofer which you plug in two ends of power cable & no wires to run !!! It has a adjustable thump1+,2+or 3+ & really fills the room !!! If you have UNJS9000 55 or 65 or UNJS9500 in 55 or 65 you need this addition !!! Watching Mad Max Fury Road was Awesome !!!
