I purchased this microwave after my former GE microwave died (it came with the house, which was built in 1982!). The microwave works well and the touch pad is very easy to use without all the complicated electronic settings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wish you could put seconds in directly

This oven is okay but it would be nice if I did not have to go to 'Time Cook' in order to cook for just seconds, i.e. .12

Second one, dead less than a year

We had one and lasted 2 years. Replaced it with same one. Less than a year old and tonight, it won't shut off unless door is open. Thats right, we put frozen vegs in, started. Open door to take out, closed door, kept running. Cancel button won't stop it.. had to unplug. Can smell wires burning inside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
