Broke after 2 months of use

We had to return this item after 2 months. It counted down the time but completely stopped heating. Lowes was gracious and did the return for us. We did get the same product hoping it is built better than the first one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Accomplishes the task

I thought this to replace my old microwave. I needed something that was neither too big nor too small. This microwave fits in the allotted space on my kitchen counter and accomplishes the necessary tasks of cooking and defrosting food as well as heating beverages. However the first one I bought set the world record for an appliance lasting the shortest amount of time. It stopped working within one week. I brought it back to the store for an exchange. The replacement has worked fine.

Had it a little over two months average usage and it burned out. No microwave no more. Wouldn't recommend a GE microwave based on this.

This is our third GE microwave since December 2013. The previous two (Different Model) lasted six months. The only reason we purchased this GE microwave was to apply the GE warranty rebate. We were unable to obtain a cash refund.
