The defrost cycle is great. Does not partially cook the meat while defrosting

Great features but very noisy

After 15 years, I finally had to replace my old microwave and this seemed like a good deal online with good reviews. When I looked at it in the store, I liked all the features it had and the price was right. However, I was not prepared for the noise when I actually brought it home and plugged it in! It rattles, vibrates and the fan is very loud. My old microwave barely made a sound but there is no mistaking when you are using this new one! I didn't want to go thru the hassle of a return or exchange so I kept it but it is not my favorite appliance for sure!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a replacement for a previous microwave that lasted 20 years. I sincerely hope this one last that long.
