I have had an under-monitor surge protector from a different manufacturer for several years and recently it finally broke down, literally. The top panel broke and that pretty much told me I needed a new one. I couldn't find another one from that manufacturer that was anything like mine, or that was in my price range. I knew Tripp-lite made under-monitor surge protectors so I checked them out. The one I found was smaller than the old I had, had all the ports I needed and was priced right. I decided to buy two. One for my computer and one for my wife. We are very pleased with the operation and small size. The monitor fits with room to spare. We have had 2 power outages since they were installed and they protected the computers, monitors and printer that are plugged into them. They fit great, look great and work great. What else can I say except it is probably the best (and least expensive) investment we have made for any of our electronic equipment. We're well protected and I have a lot more room on my desk now!

TouchMaster 6 is a good surge protector. More compact than the older PowerAuthority II model which I also own. Very convenient to have the on/off buttons to individual components where I can reach them instead of having to turn everything off at a strip type surge protector buried behind my desk.
