Hi, Susan 123! Thank you for your time and feedback. I truly understand about the light in the freezer, great suggestion! With the issue of your ice cream being soft, I recommend trying to set the freezer control to a colder setting until freezer temperature is satisfactory. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. Should you continue to have soft ice cream, please contact us directly. - Best Regard

We got stuck needing a new fridge quickly as our old one had died. This was the only option. Very poor interior space design; no light in freezer. VERY NOISY!!! The first day we had it we had to call for service as water was dripping inside the fridge—turned out a defroster tube had probably been poorly installed. I'm NOT looking forward to owning this for 20 years.

Hello, jrsjr! First, allow me to thank you for purchasing our appliances and becoming part of our extended Frigidaire family. I’m happy to hear our authorized service providers were able to resolve your water leakage. Your new refrigerator does have a modern, high-efficiency compressor that operates much faster than older models. Newer refrigerators are designed to save energy. These units are equipped with low energy consumption fans and compressors. Your refrigerator will run most of the time and only stop when a defrost cycle is needed to thaw ice buildup in the freezer. Please do not hesitate to call us directly, if the noise becomes louder. Thanks again for your time and comments. –Best Regards

Hey Ms. Tina! All four corners of your cabinet must rest firmly on the floor. Your cabinet should be level at the front and rear. The sides should tilt 1/4 inch (6 mm) from front to back (to ensure that doors close and seal properly). Your doors should align with each other and be level. Also, I suggest checking your door gasket to make sure it is sealing properly. The best way to test this would be to place a dollar bill between the body of your refrigerator and close the door. The dollar bill should stay in place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls out when placed between the gasket and cabinet double check to see if the door is being blocked by anything stopping it from closing it. If nothing is stopping the door from closing then we would suggest a replacement door gasket. If you have any additional questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact us directly. –Kind Regards, Theresa
