Sold as a garage compatible but NOT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sold as a garage compatible refrigerator/freezer by the retailer and the manufacturer product information provided to retailer. Not true. The freezer does not work properly even in the summer months. It does not keep ice cream, etc. The retailer replaced my first refrigerator with an identical refrigerator hoping that the replacement worked properly but did not. I am going to call the retailer again in hopes that they can help or maybe the manufacturer can help solve our problem. Also when the refrigerator door closes the freezer door opens and closes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your refrigerator experience, Stacie5. It is not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed. The refrigerator and freezer sections are connected by air channels to allow air to pass between them. I recommend placing a newer dollar bill where the door meets the edge of the refrigerator and try to pull out the bill. If the bill slides out easily the seal needs to be replaced. However with this being a newer appliance, I recommend closing the refrigerator door softly and not allowing the door to slam shut or close abruptly. Don't think we would buy another one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] within a week of purchase and installation, the freezer stopped working, and lost all of out food we had in it. then within another week the fridge stopped working, and again lost all our food that was in it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If your refrigerator is located where the temperature gets below 55°F, please adjust the freezer control to the coldest setting to improve performance. However, sustained exposure to ambient temperatures below 39°F will likely result in freezing of food and beverages stored in the refrigeration section. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator based on it being made in America and the pricing at the time. Once the first refrigerator was delivered, there were dents in it and so a replacement refrigerator was ordered. When the 2nd one arrived, the internal stripping was no attached at bottom of door, I took it as is and was rewarded with $100. The refrigerator is quite noisy and the door shelves are not the best, as items have fallen through the gap between the shelf and the retaining part of the shelf. Everything else seems to be working fine. Except, don't advertise made in America and the tag inside the refrigerator says made in Mexico. I was disappointed with that.

If the gasket has pulled out of the channel: clean the gasket with a wet soapy cloth, then rinse and dry. Feed the gasket back into the retaining channel, ensuring that the gasket is secure all around the door. If the gasket is fully seated, but still doesn’t seal completely, use a hair dryer to heat the gasket while the door is closed. Be very careful not to damage the interior door panel or gasket by applying too much heat. A faulty gasket can make your refrigerator run for longer periods of time, and effect energy efficiency. Page 19 in your Owner’s Manual addresses the normal operating sounds your refrigerator will exhibit.
