[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up with the Frigidaire brand. I am 72 years old and they have always been very reliable. The house that we lived in when I was very young did not have electricity but when it was wired, we got our first Frigidaire refrigerator.

Kind of discoraged

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge 3 months ago, it making a weird noise , and the bottom of fridge is not cooling well, while freezer is really cold at lowest setting. Going to call company since still in warranty

Please check that your gaskets are making contact all the way around the door (pages 8-9 in your Owner’s Manual shows how). You may have an air leak somewhere that is keeping the refrigerator portion from holding the cold air. The normal operating sounds are listed on page 18 of your Owner’s Manual. Super Cold!

They are equipped with low energy consumption fans and compressors, so they may run a lot more. Your refrigerator may make many sounds, such as vibrating, clicking, and sizzling; which are a part of the normal operations. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as a secondary refrigerator for extras, fruits and drinks (we live in the country and it's a 20 min drive one way to the nearest store). The fridge's size and interior configuration is great. I actually prefer the interior design more than our main fridge. It is quiet and isn't constantly running. The one caveat is the stainless steel; I HATE it. I cannot keep it from looking streaked- I even have cleaning products specifically made for stainless steel appliances. Our other refrigerator is a stainless steel Frigidaire Gallery series, French Door style. There is a huge difference in the look of the stainless steel upon cleaning (I couldn't take a photo that was clear). I would gladly purchase this again (based on how it has performed since I purchased it- time will tell): but, I definitely would prefer it in black or white!

I am so glad to hear your new refrigerator is filling your family’s needs so well, nee nee. If you are unhappy with the results from the stainless steel cleaner you are using, try going back to basics. My favorite stainless cleaning procedure is: wipe with a soapy microfiber cloth, rinse with another microfiber cloth with plain clean water, and then dry with a third cloth. Sounds a bit excessive, but it works for me! I always clean, wipe, and dry, with the grain of the stainless to prevent scratching. If I am expecting guests, I might wipe it with a little bit of baby oil on a microfiber cloth (again in the direction of the grain), but that is just what I personally might do.
