[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping it would be quieter, but it's not. It does have more space but it is way in the back and it is harder to reach than my old Frigidaire. It works fine so far. I would like to have bought a different design but I did not have much room to work with so this is the model that fit the space I have.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Limited operating range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit has a limited temperature operating range, the freezer will not cool effectively when ambient air temp is lower than ~50 degrees. Ice cream melts as the unit will not call for enough cooling. Was marketed as garage ready, clearly it is not. I am very disappointed with this unit as I have had Frigidaire products in the past and have had good product performance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Uh oh, RanJ! I regret to hear that you are unhappy with your new appliance. This model does not need a garage kit, however, garage ready models are only capable of operating properly in areas with ambient temperatures of 34 degrees and above. For optimal performance, it should be installed in an area where the ambient temperature does not drop below 55 degrees. You will need to adjust the freezer control to the coldest setting to improve performance. If the temperature in your garage drops below 34 degrees, you may still experience issues with your appliance. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you need additional assistance.

Freezer does not freeze Ice cream hard enough.

Hi Rjtw! Ice cream may not actually freeze being that it is a sugar-water solution. Crystallization, along with other variables would cause it not to freeze solid. You also want to ensure your door gasket is sealing properly and you can do so by slipping a sheet of paper or a dollar bill between the door edge and the freezer edge, then close the door. If you can move the paper or dollar bill easily out of the door, this is a possible indication that your gasket is not sealing properly.
