Not good for basements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge as a second fridge to keep in my basement for when I do bulk shopping and it crapped out on me not even a month later. I called for a technician and when he came and checked out the fridge he said that it is not a hood refrigerator for a space that can reach a temp below 55 degrees..
Perhaps the company should make note of that!

Thanks for sharing your experience. It is true that this refrigerator is not recommended for unheated areas like garages or basements, as temperatures below 55F may negatively affect the cooling system. This information is provided on pages 5 and 15 of the Owner's Manual. We would recommend that the refrigerator be moved to a warmer area or that a garage kit be installed, which will allow the refrigerator to work in temperatures down to 33F. Excessive noise
