Loud and cheaply made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very loud. I had to return the 1st one because of a leak inside from the freezer. The second one doesn't have that issue but this is very poorly made. U can see the sealant when u open the door and look. It stays cold tho a lnd so that's the main thing. I would recommend it to anyone .

Not happy!

We barely had it a yr. And freezer quit working, we bought it for the garage, what good is it if its quite working, I could understand it if it were older....its practically new! Never again!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As sold wont work in cool basements or garages.

There is no warning I could find in their sales literature that this fridge wont work, as sold, in a basement. If you previously had a fridge in a basement that worked as I did for over 30 years , this one may not work. The owners manual you get after you get installed says it wont work properly below 55 degrees F. Using an industrial temperature device I get readings of 59 to 60 degrees in my basement. A tech that came out contradicted the manual and said Frigidaire told him that the fridge wont work properly below 60 degrees. They do sell a "garage kit" which is a resistance heater to be installed inside the control housing. So, then the electric consumption goes up! Further, Frigidaire told their tech that the garage kit is only effective below 50 degrees. Do your home work before buying this cheap fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago when my 25 year old hand me down fridge failed after 5 years that we had it while we were away from our weekend lake house. Geez what a mess that was to clean up and so much food lost!! The wife says let’s look for another used one and my thoughts were let’s bite the bullet and get a new one so we don’t walk into another catastrophe like the one we just cleaned up. So travel 30 minutes to the nearest larger town and purchase this fridge. Bring it home set it up and wait till the following day to power it up as the sales associate recommended. All good for 33 days when we come home from a day on the water and there’s a water puddle in front of fridge? Open up freezer and a bag of ice had melted thermometer in freezer shows 46 fridge shows 54.. yup here we go again! Call the retailer and they are nice enuff to replace but won’t bring a unit to exchange it even if I pay them so have to wait till following week to make 2 hr trek to house 40 morning mutes to remove house doors and fridge doors to remove from house, with help of my 65year old wife-Shes a trooper- put house doors back on 30 minute ride to store 45 minutes to exchange 30 my Ute ride back to house - remove house doors unpackage remove fridge doors move it in reassemble fridge put doors back up on house. I guess we will see what the next 30 days bring. So far not impressed by product or retailer

awful experience!!!

Spent half a day modifying cabinets to make room for new Frigidaire refrigerator. Installed fridge and left it run and make ice. Put food from old fridge in new fridge only to wake up next morning to find NEW FRIGIDAIRE!!! Shut off overnight!!! Lost everything. Frigidaire recommended service person came and said it needed major parts and repair work. THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!
