Good Secondary Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is a second machine that we placed in the basement for extra storage because we elected to put another Frigidaire Countertop refrigerator/freezer in our kitchen. This second piece of equipment is working just fine based on how we are using it. Good purchase given it is just a secondary storage unit for us.

Ice Build Up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer door didn’t close properly, resulting in major ice build up. Frigidaire sent someone to fix it, but it was such a disappointment to have to deal with the first week of ownership. Everything is good now and I’m hopeful it will remain that way.

Freezer door keeps opening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge a few months ago, the fridge part is great but everytime I close the fridge door the freezer doors opens. I put some shims under the unit to see if it would help, it did a little but the door keeps opening. Plus its pretty noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, Irisheyes69! I can understand your concern! It is not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed. The refrigerator and freezer sections are connected by air channels to allow air to pass between them. Slamming a door shut forces air from one cavity into the other, often pushing the second door open. Check the leveling legs. The front of the refrigerator should be slightly higher than the back, to allow the door to close normally. When properly adjusted, the door will close smoothly and firmly on its own.
