Rely on Frigidaire

The only cons I have are that it is a bit noisier than my previous refrigerator (not a Frigidaire) and the freezer door doesn't close on its own as the refrigerator door does. A conscious effort has to be made to ensure the door closes. Other than those, I like the unit.

Basic refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this refrigerator for our summer cottage. It is the perfect for our basic needs. The door compartments seem to hold a lot of items while the freezer is good size too. This summer is very hot and humid but the unit has no problem keeping everything cold. We have it set at the recommended setting and this is working out fine.

I bought this 5 years ago and it is falling apart. I thought about having it repaired but it has too much wrong with it. Freezer barely reaches a safe temp and fridge section doesn't get cool at all. I use the fridge section as a storage cabinet now. I would unplug and move it out of my house, but it does make ice and I need the ice for my dog when it is close to 100 degrees outside. When I get a few more doctor and hospital bills paid I am going to replace it and get someone to haul it away. I would not recommend this fridge to anyone, friend or foe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
