Decent priced appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It keeps the food cold and plenty of room for the food only issue is the lower shelf above the crispers it is not the correct side so it will fall one way or the other with heavy items I found this out for the 4th of July.

Freezer Does Not Maintain Proper Temperature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always kept thermometers in my refrigerators to monitor their performance and to alert me early if a problem develops. I have observed that the refrigerator portion consistently maintains the proper temperature of between 32 and 40 degrees. However, the freezer section does not maintain the commonly accepted temperature of between -20 and 0. Its temperature is almost always above 0 and often I find it between 15 and 20 degrees. The only time I find the temperature in the freezer in the safe zone is when the motor is running. I have tried setting the temperature control to its highest level with no improvement. I don't know if there is something wrong with it, or if my expectations are too high.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The recommended temperature for the freezer is 0 degrees Fahrenheit and 37 degrees Fahrenheit for the refrigerator. When using a manual thermometer, the reading can be slightly different. A manual thermometer will only read the temperature of the set location of where it is located and not over the whole area like the internal sensor of the freezer.
