Great for rental property !!

In a rental property the extended warranty is a must, so all in all, the purchase of the plan and the refrigerator was a great deal !!

No frills, inexpensive frig

Didn't need anything fancy. Very disappointed in the sturdiness of the freezer rack, I'll probably just take it out. There's not that much food on it and it's bowing!

Stopped working within 30 days

I bought this a little before Christmas and it worked for less than 30 days. Have had 2 separate repairmen and each say something different but no one seems to be able to fix it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Modest secondary fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a secondary fridge to use in the garage. For the price I thought it was a great value. However. We noticed things in the freezer were 'soft' shortly after we purchased it. Turns out we needed a 'garage kit' needed for when surrounding air temp gets below 34 degrees turning off the compressor, so essentially the freezer was not 'freezing any longer and the fridge was no longer cooling. Frozen solid items stayed har s, but new stuff never froze...had to throw away several meat and other items for fear they were spoiled. With the exception of that it has been ok, still only useable as a second fridge. Storage not gresat and door space a not adjustable making them not real convenient for storing smaller items and not drink gallons.
I would recommend this to a friend!

PATim, I apologize for any miscommunication resulting in frustration for you. Unless clearly marked for garage use, our refrigerators are intended for indoor use. Upgrading your refrigerator with a Garage Kit will lower the minimum operating temperature of your unit to 34° F. Even with a garage kit, sustained exposure to ambient temperatures below 39°F will likely result in freezing of food and beverages stored in the refrigerator section. My research into your consumer account shows you should be in receipt of the needed garage kit. I also had smaller items I was used to storing on the door bins. I purchased a lazy susan for use on the shelf and am quite happy with the results. Perhaps this could work for your dilemma. Efficient cold storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge/freezer to replace a much older unit that was failing. This is our secondary/basement unit. I am happy with the efficiency and very good storage capacity. It also is fairly quiet and seems to hold desired temperatures consistently.
