Not really happy with purchase

Good morning, Linda! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Since you are showing frost in your freezer, I would suggest testing your door gasket. The best way to test this would be to place a dollar bill between the body of your freezer and close the door. The dollar bill should stay in place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls out when placed between the gasket and cabinet double check to see if the door is being blocked by anything stopping it from closing it. If nothing is stopping the door from closing then we would suggest a replacement door gasket. Hope this helps!

Frigidare refrigerator

We would have liked a larger refrigerator but this was what we could afford at the time. It has served the purpose. Being a Frigidaire we knew it would be a reliable one so did not hesitate buying it.

Just the right size refrig for my garage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After hurricane Irma, with no power for 8 days, my garage refrig stunk when I came to Fl for the winter. I bought this refrig because it met all my needs and was reasonably priced. Thus far, I am very pleased with it, and it was time to get a new one anyway because the old one, also a Frigidaire, was 20 years old.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Freezer doesn't work in the garage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer doesn't work in the garage! Had the service rep out and he said " yeah it won't freeze in the garage." This is useless to me without a freezer. I bought it for extra freezer space.

Hi Jpbnj! I apologize that you are not fully satisfied with your refrigerator. In researching, you want to make sure that the refrigerator is not installed where the temperature will drop below 55 degrees Fahrenheit or rise above 110 degrees Fahrenheit. The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the refrigerator.
However, you may be able to purchase a garage heater kit. The garage heat kit is part number 5303918301. Should you wish to place an order you can contact a Frigidaire part specialist at 1-800-599-7569 Monday-Friday 8am-8pm EST and Saturday 9am-6pm EST at your convenience.

Unusually noisy.

Although this refrigerator has no special features, it frequently produces a variety of noticeable gurgles, grunts, and groans in addition to the expected sound of the compressor motor running. I would be embarrassed to have a visitor hear this refrigerator in operation. At night, I can hear these odd noises from my bedroom on the opposite side of the house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fridge rated, I understand getting used to the sounds from a new appliance can be frustrating. Some of the sounds you’ve been hearing are part of your appliance’s normal function. For example the refrigerant moving through the evaporator may create a gurgling sound. These sounds are normal and are no cause for concern. Page 18 in your Owner’s Manual lists the normal sounds your refrigerator will exhibit.
