A Good, Reasonably Priced Refrigerator

Brand New Frig keeps breaking down, Big Regret

It took Frigidaire two months to secure a repair man to fix it. It has been running for three weeks and just broke down again. Do not buy from this company!

Excellent buy for a single, retired person.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4 days before Thanksgiving, my old refrigerator began to quit on me. As a retired Special Ed. teacher; repairs were out of the financial question; so plan B when into effect.. I bought ice to keep the milk in a cooler. Ordered your 18 Cu. but could not get delivery until after the holiday. Luckily, my son and daughter are now on their successful own; so the sound of the new, smaller refrigirator motor kicking on, is like music to my ears.

In researching, we were able to see that it is recommended to not install this model where the temperature will drop below 55° Fahrenheit or rise above 110 Fahrenheit. However, you would like to install your refrigerator in a garage, it may require the garage heater kit part number (5303918301).

Great size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought in September... worked great then freezer started not freezing... had great service replacement of defrost control but now ice cream is always soft unit... love the big inside no frills can store lots of holiday extra food without it freezing in fridge area... just lacking in freezer coldness quality

Hi, Partyperson101! We apologize for any matters you have experienced with your freezer not freezing previously, and we are glad to hear that it was resolved. However, ice cream may not freeze being that it is a sugar-water solution. A sugar-water solution does not freeze, at least not in temperatures achievable in a home or an industrial freezer. Crystallization, along with other variables would cause it not to freeze solid.

Better than we expected.

Our kitchen design will not accommodate a larger refrigerator, but this one seems to hold more and is easier to organize. We’re quite happy with it.
