Noisy refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator at Lowe's about 2 months ago. It is a noisy refrigerator. When it "kicks on", it makes a loud "popping" sound for about 15 seconds, then goes away. It is not a quiet refrigerator. It functions fine as far as keeping food cold.

I am bummed out to learn your fridge is making loud sounds. Your new, high-efficiency refrigerator may introduce unfamiliar sounds.
These sounds normally indicate your refrigerator is operating correctly. Some surfaces on floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make these sounds more noticeable.
Please keep in mind today’s compressors run much faster than in the past. Your compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. For additional information about the sounds your fridge makes, I recommend reviewing the “NORMAL OPERATING SOUNDS AND SIGHTS” of your Use & Care guide page 18.

Loud and noisy

Just got it. Sounds like a motor boat in my kitchen, cannot even hear the TV. Never had a refrigerator like this!! Is this NORMAL??

Terrible experience

I bought one and it never got cold in the fridge or freezer. So I lost all the food and had to replace everything. Lowe’s replaces the unit and this one worked. Very bad experience with the loss of all my food.
