adequate but noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a month ago. From the very first time I plugged it in it has been noisy, making knocking noises and other sounds. Each time I open the door the motor comes on. The temperature does fluctuate but it stays in the safe zone on the thermometer, however, the ice cream in the freezer is sometimes softer than at other times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey there CLWG! I know that some sounds coming from your refrigerator can be a little awkward. In researching, your refrigerator may make many sounds, such as sizzling, popping or crackling; which are a part of the normal operations. Also, using a manual thermometer, will only read the temperature of where it is located and not over the whole refrigerator like the internal thermometer, which can cause the reading to possibly vary or be slightly off.
You know, I’ve always wonder myself why my Ice cream wasn’t freezing and it turns out that Ice cream may not actually freeze being that it is a sugar-water solution. Crystallization, along with other variables would cause it not to freeze solidi you should have any other questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at -877-435-3287 Monday-Friday 8am-8pm EST and Saturday 9am-6pm EST at your convenience. I purchased a Frigidaire in my previous home and never had any issues. This led to me purchasing this one. No complaints/issues from this one. A great appliance.
