No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you install your refrigerator in a garage or another unheated area, you may experience freezer temperature problems during the winter months when temperatures dip below 55°F; upgrading your refrigerator with a Garage Kit will lower the minimum operating temperature of your unit to 34° F.
Please keep in mind we recommend not to install the refrigerator where the temperature will drop below 55°F (13°C) or rise above 110°F (43°C). The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the refrigerator.

Good Basic Refridgerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Frigidaire at Home Depot as a second refrigerator for the basement. Keeps everything cool on recommended temp in the main section. In the freezer, we had to bump the setting to the coldest temp in order to get the freezer to register down to zero. Does not seem to provide a deep freeze. The unit runs so quietly that I can't tell if it is working.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very poor quality

Handle on the fridge door brakes easily, vegetable drawers assembly is very flimsy it’s broken, not tha old to have so many problems. I bought 4 to replace old ones for an apartment complex that I own and all have had similar problems! Buyer be ware

I bought this refrigerator March 19, by April 27 it quit working. It’s now almost June and the tech put a new part on it yesterday...let’s see how long it will last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought as replacement with ice maker. Installed ice maker and reversed doors by myself anybody with mechanical knowledge will have no problem. Features are nice but only two shelves for fridge and one shelf in freezer that's pretty much immovable. There are another set of holes in freezer but impossible to move. Seems to be working great it's pretty quiet. All the bad reviews I read on other sites are so far not true. Like the brand! have other big Frigidaire appliances. But only a year warranty! Not happy about that. How about 5 yrs with option for longer would be better. Have had this fridge for about a month now so far so good.
