this was in our mobile home when purchased it makes a knocking sound that doesnt seem to go away had repairman out and

Yikes! Getting used to the sounds from a new refrigerator can be frustrating, conniemesser. Some of the sounds you’ve been hearing may be part of your appliance’s normal function. For example, the popping sound you may hear can be coming from the defrost heater. During defrost cycles, water dripping onto the defrost heater may cause a hissing or sizzling sound, and after defrosting, a popping sound may occur. Page 18 of your Owner’s Manual addresses the normal sounds the refrigerator may make, please compare what you are hearing with what is listed.
