If fridge doesn't cool, check the fan in the freez

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got fridge home to the guest house, plugged it in, freezer got cold but not fridge part. My husband said he could not hear the fan, so he pulled the panel in the back of the freezer and found the fan that pushes the cold air down in the fridge had not been plugged in. He plugged it in and it works fine. Is quite a bit louder when it is running than my LG but for the price we can put up with it.
If he had not known what was wrong we would have had to call customer service and go thru all that hassle. Appliances sure aren't made like they use to be, nor is there any quality control.

Good basic fridge, wish the shelves were solid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good fridge for the value. However, I wish I had noted the wire rack shelving, which doesn't work well with bottles, drinks, condiments, etc. since they fall between the wires. I installed a makeshift plastic shelf to hold drinks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Fridge... Great price
