A little disapointed

Bought the refrigerator early January. Replaced an old one in garage. Ice Cream in the freezer is like soft serve ice cream now. Pulled out the manual and now see that if you put it in an unheated area that gets below 55 F it won't maintain proper temp inside the refrigerator. Manual says you can an additional kit so it can be in a garage down to 34 degrees F but can't seem to find where to call or order and am afraid when I do, it will cost more than the refrigerator itself!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
