The first one I bought in late June 2016 didn't work (it never got cold enough in either fridge or freezer) and I lost over $100 in food. The second one, delivered July 4, 2016, showed signs of poor freezer insulation: ice was forming on flat surfaces due to frozen condensation. A new freezer door was installed. The same day the tech was due to replace the freezer door, the refrigerator door started not to close properly--I have to lift the door up to close it now and last week it closed normally. The tech tried to fix the refrigerator door to no avail. Frigidaire is sending another tech out to look at that door. I am seriously re-thinking keeping this unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid Garage Fridge

Bought this as a secondary fridge and so far it has met my expectations. I have had no issues so far with it storing and cooling food/beverages. Not sure I would want it in my kitchen as the compressor is on the louder side.

Extra Space Needed

I needed a refrigerator for out in my garage due to a wedding and when we have summer guests. This was the only one that was warranted to have out in the garage during the winter so it was an easy decision. So far I've had no problems but it has only been a month. Keep fingers crossed.

We bought this as a replacement for our kitchen & expected simply the basics. It turned out to be one of the best purchases we have made in a long time! Yes, it is a "basic" refrigerator; no frills. But it does a SUPER job of what it was designed to do! Chills sodas quickly & keeps food at a constant, safe, easy-to-adjust temperature. The freezer has ample space; I was surprised at how much space was available for all sizes of frozen items. And (the best part) it keeps food frozen! A winner, for sure!
