I bought this model specifically To have extra fridge/freezer space in the garage. We've had record heat this summer and its kept cold with no problem.

Got this as our 2nd fridge to keep in the garage and it's been great, stays really cool and is very quiet. Size is perfect

stopped working in 3 days

Refrigerator had a faulty defrost switch, which caused it to stay in defrost mode. The switch was replaced, now it works, but not before I had to throw out a lot of food.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bottom shelf is weak. Placing heavy objects on it makes it bow and then interferes with the plastic drawers. I have to remove upper shelves to get this one out. Nees stronger shelf. I personally don't like double doors. Wife had to have them. Pain to open two doors every time I want something. Top shelf in freezer keeps clunking when I close it after getting ice. I don't like having to move a drawer to reach the stuff under it. Appearance id good. Workmanship is good. I hope the door sealing cam holds out but I suspect it will need attention in a few years..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
