Interesting noise

Have had this refrigerator for about three months and I like it but......we bought an ice maker for it and either the ice maker or the refrig makes this real high pitched sound.....sometimes. I am hyper sensitive to sounds....my husband does not notice it but I do. Other than that, I like it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Models like yours may make unfamiliar sounds like a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound, which comes from your refrigerator's compressor. Not sure what’s wrong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this refrigerator a few weeks ago as a second refrigerator. This past week the freezer compartment is not holding temperature. I put a thermometer in it to monitor and the temp ranged from 10 degrees to 28 degrees over night. 28 degrees is not cold enough to keep ice cream and frozen treats solid. I will be calling the appliance store to return it for another model.

Goodness! Mikel43, I am sorry to hear of your displeasure in your new refrigerator. Do not install your refrigerator where the temperature will drop below 55°F or rise above 110°F. The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the refrigerator (page five in your Owner’s Manual). If you install your refrigerator in a garage or other unheated area, you may experience freezer temperature problems during the winter months when temperatures dip below 55° F. Upgrading your refrigerator with a Garage Kit will lower the minimum operating temperature of your unit to 34° F (page 15 in your Owner’s Manual). This kit can be ordered by calling Mon-Fri, 8a-8p or Saturday 9a-6p EST@ 800-724-7519. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

Makes a lot of noise

Stopped working 3 years after purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sounds fine but stopped working. Now we are using the freezer as a fridge. Idk what we're going to do. I didn't buy a warranty or whatever because I didn't think it would die so quick. The fridge is warm at best. I like that the back is sealed and doesn't have those coils touching the wall, but maybe therein lies the problem. Should've known it was cheap for a reason.

Good morning, DefrostedDreams. Is your refrigerator located in a garage or basement? If the temperature is 55 degrees or below, the fridge will not need to cycle as much causing the freezer to act as a refrigerator. If you feel that the refrigerator is still not cooling properly, please contact us directly.

Stopped working in 35 days!

I bought this 11/17/17 and it was delivered 11/27/17. It worked ok for 34 days and stopped working on day 35.

I bought this 3 years ago, will not reach ideal temps. For the past week I have been using thermometers to see the temps. It is struggling to stay at 45. Yes I wrote a review several days ago. To Frigidaire customer service: Why do you assume that everyone keeps their lemon of a fridge in the garage? NO, I don't have a garage, nor do I have a basement. I have been keeping the fridge in my apartment-- a cozy, warm, 75 degree apartment.
