I bought this refrigerator about 8 months ago and it is still go strong. I had one problem and it was taken care of.

I bought this as our old fridge went out. It has a lot more room even though it is the same size as our old fridge.

Snappy handles

I bought this fridge 6 months ago from a large home improvement center. It has been working well and it does it's job simply keeping food cold. It is rather quiet and energy efficient. But, after 6 months the fridge handle snapped off at the top where it is secured with two screws because it is made of thin brittle white plastic. I called for warranty service and a new handle was shipped out within a week. As long as you are under warranty their support is great. I reinforced the new handle underneath with adhesive metal tape to help give it more sheer strength so that it will last (hopefully) once the warranty expires. Companies cut corners and plastic is cheap. I'd pay $20 more to have a handle made of metal like they used to be so this wouldn't be an issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
