These are all normal sounds and soon will become familiar to you. The sounds indicate your appliance is operating as designed. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make sounds more noticeable. Modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. Garage Ready Refrigerator

Frigidaire finally came out with a Garage Ready refrigerator that will work in the cold and hot temperatures in a garage. I had one delivered about a month ago.
Pros: It looks nice. Has a lot of room in both compartments. Does not have a lot of "Bells & Whistles (I didn't want them).
Cons: Leveling was a problem; the feet only had one-inch of adjustment - the garage floor slopes more than that; had to put shims under the wheels. Temperature control in the refrigerator compartment also is difficult; mid temperature on the dial froze things; kept increasing the temperature, now on the warmest setting it is about 34 degrees; still colder than I want. The freezer temperature is impossible to access without removing the food, since the control dial is in the rear of the freezer compartment. Aluminum cans in the door shelves roll around if not kept completely full.

Great refrig for the price

I purchased this refrigerator for my garage. The main purpose was soft drinks in the refrigerator and we put some items in the freezer. The freezer temp does stay fairly cold even in wisconsin winter. I put a thermometer in it and typical temp is 15 deg Fahr on the coldest setting. I would like zero degree but its close and better than other units

This is a 2nd refrigerator that is in an area that is not air conditioned in Florida. Hope it works ok this summer

Bought for 2nd ref & ice maker, and to keep soda's & water. Also great to have for food storage when special events or holidays at my home.
