Ice Cream is soft!

Bought this item less than 90 days ago and ice cream will not freeze in the freezer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Nottoohappy. We recommend lowering the temperature in the freezer slightly and placing the ice cream in the middle rear section of the freezer away from the side and door opening. If this does not prove helpful please give us a call directly. Cheers -

I bought this unit about a month ago and it is quite noisy when the compressor runs. Much more noisy than our old frig.

problems already

I bought this a month ago and the light in the refrigerator will not come on. I checked the bulb and that's not the problem. guess I will see if Frigidaire will stand behind their warranty.

Did not really want this refrigerator, but I needed something to fit in my small space-----have been very pleasantly surprised with it and find it is perfect for my needs

Perfect extra frig in garage!

We bought this to use in our garage as extra storage. Since we purchased it in July, I was worried about how well it would keep food and drinks cold/frozen in the summer months when the garage temperatures are extremely high. (we live in the South) But it has performed great! Definitely exceeded my expectations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ok, not too durable though

I live in a rental and this was installed shortly after I moved into my unit. I had a 4 year old daughter. She's now 6. In the 2 years, the handle has cracked at the screw opening so that now the handle is not tightly fixed to the fridge, and my daughter accidentally cracked the floor of the fridge (near the door, where the door shelves overlap the floor when closed) by stepping on it to reach something in the freezer. She's an average 6 year old, maybe 50 lbs. I don't know when the crack happened, as it's been a while since I've done a thorough cleaning, but you'd figure a kid that size can't do real damage to the floor of a fridge. She's not chunky and she's pretty tall (around 4 feet) so it was likely done months ago when she was even lighter in weight.
I'm not thrilled that I now have to purchase a replacement before I move out to get my deductible back.

Not as good as I thought it would be

Simply put, I expected the freezer section to keep ice cream not only cold, but frozen. All ice cream, be it in containers or Klondike bars, are never really that hard. It's disappointing. The refrigerator section works fine. I do have both dials at the high setting available.
