Good value for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this refrigerator for over a month now and its been great. My only complaint is not having a separate temperature control for the freezer and refrigerator. If I want the freezer colder, my food in the refrigerator portion will freeze. Since its a garage unit, its not the end of the world.

Solid Old School Refrigerator

The unit replaced a 30 year old garage fridge and has been great so far. I especially like the solid closing of the doors - you have no doubt that they are closed. It looks good, runs quietly and maintains our drinks and frozen items well. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Pros and Cons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new fridge quickly to replace a failing one. I was fortunate to get this one, and in black, since appliances are hard to come by due to the pandemic. The Pros...it's attractive inside and out and does the job overall. The Cons...no butter dish or ice cube trays so I'm lucky I kept my old ones for it. One light inside instead of the 2 I had before but getting used to it. My main concern is that I have the auxiliary freezer setting up on the coldest setting but it won't stay at 0 degrees consistently. It drifts up to 10 or 15 degrees before the cooling cycle kicks back on again. I have the fridge/freezer setting at the recommended spot on the dial and that keeps true at about 36 degrees but if I go a bit colder on that dial to try to increase the freezer temp, it goes below 32 in the fridge which isn't a solution. Another issue is that I can't adjust the wire shelf rack in the freezer because of a black plastic stopper on the front left corner of the shelf that must be removed to do so. My senior fingers can't get it off and, by the way, there is NO mention about this in the owner's manual. I had to search the question from other Frigidaire owners online. These problems have diluted my pleasure in a new fridge and caused an "average" rating.
