Freezer frosts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to keep in the garage, but the freezer temp seems to rise, which causes condensation and frost and little icicles bear the seam with the door. I’ll be calling for service or for the warranty. Is this what always happens with these units or did I get a lemon?

Hello there, Kris! We appreciate your review of this unit. We understand that you have some concerns, we would be glad to help. If your experiencing frost build-up, check that there isn't any food preventing the door from closing, that the doors are level and closed completely according to the use and care guide, and that there isn't anything blocking the vents. Please note that these models perform well between a 50 and 110-degree ambient temperature. Below 50 degree ambient, the freezer control should be adjusted to the coldest setting. The product will operate down to 39-degree ambient, but there is a risk of food items freezing in the fresh food compartment. To reduce the risk of food freezing, the fresh-food control should be adjusted to a warmer setting. Also note that the use and care guide advises, do not install the refrigerator where the temperature will drop below 55°F (13°C) or rise above 110°F (43°C). The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the refrigerator. Service providers may be able to offer some options that may assist. Unhappy with this

I am unhappy with this product. Have owned less than 3 months and am making 4th service call. Icing in freezer and inability to achieve correct freezer and refrigerator temperatures.
