Spacious, quiet

Great Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this particular fridge because it was the literally the last one in stock at the time that our broke. I'll admit it wasn't what I was looking for but am now glad that we bought it. It has lots of room and keeps everything perfectly cold. The only thing I don't like, are the shelves themselves, they're wire so things can tip if not placed properly and with my family that does tend to happen often.

Good capacity

Good size and capacity inside and out, holds temperature well and shelf arrangements work well for food storage.

The only frig I'll ever buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Frigidaire in 2004 in eastern Ohio. We loved it. We moved to western KY in 2010 and brought it with us. The home we purchased had a frig so we stored this one in the garage. Within two years the frig in the house quit working. We brought out the one in the garage, cleaned it up, plugged it in and wow, it worked like brand new. It has been running perfectly ever since. In 2020 we decided to replace the Frigidaire so we purchased the exact same one. We gave the old one away, it is still running. The new one is just perfect. I am sure we will get 16 more years out of the new one and probably more than that.

Good overall low-end refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this refrigerator as a backup, running off solar power, to deal with the Public Safety Power Shutoffs that PG&E implements during fire season here in California. It seems to work very well overall, the only complaint I have is the lack of precision in the temperature control. I have wireless temperature sensors mounted in the refrigerator and freezer sections, and they consistently show that the temperature in the refrigerator goes up and down between 41 and 33 degrees, and the freezer oscillates between 12 and -8 degrees (except when the defrost cycle kicks in, when it goes up to 34-35 degrees for a short time). I would have liked the ability to keep food in the freezer consistently at or below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and that is not possible. I have the freezer temperature control know set to the coldest setting, and the refrigerator control is almost at the coldest setting as well. A more sensitive thermostat would be a very desirable modification to the design of this model.

Good after freezer repaired

From the first day the new fridge was delivered, ice began building up in the freezer. After several weeks of waiting for the repairman to look at it, he adjusted the freezer door and flipped the gasket around. There was an air leak into the freezer. Since it was repaired, there have been no further issues. I did not expect a brand new fridge/freezer to need repair. That is why I abandoned my previous fridge/freezer.

So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this for a couple months now and everything seems to be working fine. When I got it there was a few random plastic pieces in the carton. Not sure where they came from. Hopefully nothing important. It also seemed to be making things colder when I turned the temperature up. But dials are back to normal now and seems to be working good. Ask me again in a year.
