Good Basic Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to use in the garage after having two other refrigerators fail due to low temps in the garage. There is a heating element you can buy separately that allows this model to be used in a garage, although I've read Frigidaire is no longer making the heating element, so I'd check on availability first. The fridge has been working great for a month and has a good amount of room.

Adequate at best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a new townhouse and this was the fridge that came with the home with builder grade options. Here are a list of the cons: small, no meat drawer (only a veggie and fruit), no ice maker, items on the door shelves fall out because the plastic rails have wide openings at the bottom, extremely noisy, and freezer door doesn’t have a great seal so icicles form. Pros: food stays cold. Not much else to say in this column. Would make a good second fridge for the garage.

The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound, which is normal. You can view additional normal sounds in the manual on page 18 and with the following link, https://youtu.be/eD7imT3w4bw.
Although this particular top-mount refrigerator does not come with an ice-maker, you can obtain the optional ice-maker (IM116000) to install. Also, if your freezer door is not sealing properly, ensuring that the refrigerator is on a leveled surface can assist, along with ensuring that it is not over packed.
A tip that can alleviate most door shelf matters is to ensure they are not overloaded. Overloading the door shelves with very heavy items can it to give in a little.
A lot of consumers have found ensuring that the items are being loaded correctly can alleviate this matter. We recommend placing your larger items in the middle and lower bins and your smaller items in the top door bin.

Excellent Refrigerator for a good price

I bought it because Frigidaire has a good name and a good reputation. It is for a rental house and the tenants are very pleased with it and so am I.
