I purchased this 1 year ago. Have loved it up until now. Having owned it for 1 year & 2 weeks & the thermostat went out in the middle of the night. Wish it had a warning ding like my old freezer did to let you know something was wrong. Lost all food product as it wasn't discovered till the next day & we had way more in there than room for it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had two, probably for at least 10 years. Bought the first one to use just as a freezer but I liked the fact that it was also convertible. Bought the second one a couple of years later to use as a Fridge--keeping in mind if my freezer ever went out, I had flexibility. Never happened. They both have worked great for the entire time I have had them. Also, I guess because mine are an older version, they do both have glass shelves. I just happened to go looking to see if they are still available in case we want to add them to a second home.
