oven racks

Taking the racks out to clean is a big pain. These are the hardest racks to clean in the world. Had I know and thought more about how to clean these racks I never would have bought this oven. The self cleaning oven is fine, just not the racks. I cook every night and use the oven alot, so it needs cleaned often. Big Pain!

Great ovens

I really love these double ovens. The features are wonderful. I would have given them a 5 star rating, but in honesty, I did have to have a tech come out and adjust the temperature of both ovens. They were about 10 degrees too cool. I do a lot of baking, though - all my own bread, etc - and would recommend them to anyone.

Even heating!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had several casseroles in the oven simultaneously for a wedding weekend brunch and none were over or under cooked or dried out. Lots of features that I did not have on my previous oven.

When it works it's wonderful

My oven stopped working within 2 months of installation. Electrolux was very good to work with, however it took 1 1/2 months to get the new replacement oven installed. Now 1year and 3 months after the installation of the replacement the bottom oven ceased working. Luckily I purchased the extended service contract after the experience with my initial oven. I called Electrolux again and received an authorization number for service. I called the same company for service that I used initially. Now I am waiting for the part and service to come back to repair the bottom oven. The catalist seems to bee when I clean the self cleaning oven (utilizing the mfr instructions). When the oven works, I love it....just happy this time that I still have 1 oven to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Since I have had oven I have had numerous repairs and my oven temp is hotter than the set display. Things cook too fast and as a result are overdone.
When I ran the clean cycle the bottom of the oven appeared to have overheated and has discolored the bottom. Once when I ran clean the oven tripped the high limit thermostat and shut down. I could not use my oven for some time since I was waiting for a repair man and ordered parts.
I bought 3 oven thermometers and the oven settings and display are not the same temperature as they are displaying. The oven is hotter than the set temp and display reads.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

30" electric double wall oven wave touch

Have the oven for a couple of weeks now and I am happy with it. When using the oven without convection it is pretty quiet. You have to stand near it to hear it. When turned off and into the cool down mode it is quiet. A little noisy when you use convection mode. Compared to my last oven I would almost call this quiet. The oven temp is not off much, within 25 degrees at times. The racks are not easy to pull out or push in. I do love the easy glide racks. I am going to order a couple more and get rid of the other racks. I will follow up when I have used the ovens for at least six months.

problem with cleaning cycle

Convection function is fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned my double wall oven for over 2 months now. This is the third convection oven I have used. It is leagues better than the last 2. Absolutely no hot spots, no need to rotate oven dishes - I have been in the habit for 12 years of setting a timer for every 15 minutes, to rotate the pans for even baking. Absolutely no need for that with this oven. Convection roast is also great - clearly works differently than convection bake (not the case with past ovens), perfect for roasted veggies. The blue interior threw me for a bit, but now I love that too. Glide racks works smoothly, and it is super easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!
