Very Capable Unit

The V800 installed easily and without issue. Unlike a few of the Epson printers I've bought, it hasn't had any issues. Let's hope that continues.

Scanner was very securely packaged. Easy to setup, loaded software with no issues, and got started using it right away. Pretty easy to follow the instructions included.

I have used it for a year, primarily on thousands of slides and a number of photos. It was easy to setup and operate. The finished product is superb and easy to bring into the computer. It is a good product and easily does all it is supposed to do

This was an upgrade for me. My prior Epson V550 performed flawlessly but super high resolution scans took time. Step in V800 and amazed how much faster. Also I can get 2400 and higher dpi on full sheet photos (not just cropped images like other machines do). This re-conditioned product looks and works as NEW.

So far I am very pleased with the Epson 800 scanner. It has the versatility and ease of use that I require in my business. I needed to replace the Microtek professional scanner I had for nearly 12 years. The scanning surface on the Epson is slightly smaller than the Microtek but that is relatively easy to compensate for. The Epson software has been OK so far. The Silverfast 8 software that came with the product has been unusable because of lack of support from the company due to the differences between the included (and on-line) manual and the actual product.

Had the V800 for about a month. Set up and began using basic features almost immediately and have gragually moved up with little problem.

I’ve been using Epson scanners religiously for 20 years. I’ve always purchased the advanced models and they have never failed me. Only thing I dislike is not using all the space on the film holders as they did in previous models. But the new led technology is excellent with not waiting to warm up.

Awsome scaner for Glass Negatives !!!!!

After reading numerous reviews about different scanners for digitizing glass negatives, this unit was highly recommended. I have used other scanners in the past but this unit is by far the best. Working on a new book and this scanner is perfect for my needs. Scans are quick, easy and perfect!!!
